Jackson & Jonathan

Since his baby brother, Jonathan, returned home from the hospital, Jackson has been an active participant in providing him love and affection, very much the concerned and caring sibling. The moment the baby makes a peep, Jackson rushes over to his swing, wielding his little brother's "paci". After a couple of attempts at providing Jonathan some comfort, he looks at us, holds his hands up, and shakes his head, confusion very evident on his face. We just tell him that maybe Jonathan doesn't like having his paci shoved into his mouth. We're hoping that sibling jealousy and rivalry is a ways off, and even that their close proximity in age means a lasting close bond. In the meantime, we are counting our blessings, proud to have two beautiful, healthy boys. -Caleb
