We took Jonathan to the pediatrician yesterday for his two week visit. He has already gained back his birth weight (and some more). The doctor was really nice, but she spent most of the visit talking about things she was "required to cover" such as why you shouldn't shake a baby. She also told Caleb and I that we needed to make time to go on a date.... so, could we consider that doctor's orders? In the back of my mind I was thinking about the "date" we have every night. It consists of bathing a two-year-old and a two-week-old at the same time in the same bathroom. It usually involves a lot of flying water, screaming, and suds all over the floor. It also comes with a lot of laughter, smiles, and memories to last a lifetime.

"Meet you for bath time at, say, 7:15? It's BYOB... each 'Bathe Your One Boy'."

May the Lord bless you Jonathan. May you know Him from the get go. May His love be in your heart all the days of your life.
