Home Again

Caleb's flight was set to arrive at 7:45 last night and at 4:30 I was busily thinking about what to feed Jackson and what the boys should wear to the airport. I sat down at the computer to check the temperature outside when the doorbell rang. I heard a door slam and a truck pull back up the driveway so I knew the UPS man had just dropped off the package I was expecting. I walked through the living room where Jackson was watching a cartoon. "Don't get up," I told him. "It's just a box." I opened the door... and there was Caleb!! He'd managed to catch an earlier flight and surprise us. I was so shocked that I just stood there and Jackson went racing past me screaming "Daddy! Daddy!" We went out to eat afterward because I hadn't even thought about plans for dinner. Caleb can't believe had much the boys have grown in six weeks. We are so glad to have him home!
