project

041The boys and I went to the store this morning where Jackson picked out fabric all by himself. (Okay, I may have strongly suggested the polka dots, but the other was all him). Then he sat in a chair at the dining room table for an hour and watched me cut, pin, iron, and sew. He asked me every question he could think of about the inner workings of the sewing machine, and I can’t even fathom the number of times I heard “Is it ready yet? Well, how about now? Is it ready now?”

So what do you think I was busily crafting this afternoon?

Everyone knows a little boy can’t save the world without a proper cape.

Hahahahaha! That's so cool Jackie! And Jackson's going to be one smart kid with that sense of curiosity fueling his learning. :)
