“Light painting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made usually at night or in a darkened room by moving a hand-held light source or by moving the camera.” -Wiki
I’ve recently been fascinated with this growing trend, a photography technique called “Light Painting”. Not really practical for everyday images, but completely cool and fun to play around with once in a while.

You can use this technique to outline objects in an image (above) or create refractions (below).
And of course, you can also use it to spell out a special message. Like this, my favorite word.
