according to Jack
Jackson has been going through a phase lately, where he pretends he’s a dog all the time. And, you know, I’m mostly okay with that. I was okay with building a “dog house” in the living room. I was okay with throwing a ball repeatedly so he could “fetch” it in his mouth. I was NOT okay with letting him drink from a bowl at dinner.
Some of his ideas are a little absurd. But in the interest of fostering his creativity, I try to roll with it... most of the time. I have no clue how a kid who doesn’t even own one knows so much about dogs.
Just so you know, the following was NOT my idea.
Jack: “Mommy, I really need a cone around my neck so I can’t scratch behind my ears.”
Me: “Are you serious?”
Jack: “Yes. I have an itchy spot.”
Me: “If I put a cone around your neck do I get to take pictures?”
Jack: “Well… sure!”
Me: “I’ll see what I can do.”
And just because you can’t take pictures of one and not the other…

That is referred to as an "Elizabethan collar" and you made a nice one! Hope Jackson gets over his "itch" and can be released from his collar soon!
Love you girl!
