blue irises

Caleb, who was far away on Valentines Day but still thinking about me, sent a gorgeous arrangement of pink lilies and blue irises. He knows me well. Irises are my favorite flower… mostly because they photograph so beautifully. See, it’s been the job of every flower that has passed through my door to give an exquisite picture. And when he got home on pass and we were in the kitchen making breakfast Tuesday morning Caleb took a look at the flowers on the counter and goes “So, have you taken any pictures yet?”
