a bridge in the woods

This is a popular walking spot for us. It is exactly a mile long and Jon is just old enough to make the whole trail without needing to be carried. How can that make me so happy and so sad at the same time?
*sigh*
Anyway, we can’t walk here without stopping on the bridge for Jackson to “skip rocks” which is what he calls throwing rocks, twigs, leaves, and anything within reach into the stream below. I might as well sit down and get comfortable, because we won’t be leaving until every last piece of foliage has been lovingly sacrificed to the water.

ps. I don’t know who John is, but he loves Sarra.
