One thing about having a dog, it’s forced me to get close with nature again, ready or not. Like when I was standing on the porch watching Tucker do his thing in the backyard, glanced over to the right and realized I was sharing personal space with the fattest lizard I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen a lot of lizards.
