striving for subtle editing

I’ve had my fair share of photoshop blunders over the years, and it’s usually at the worst when a new version of the program hits the market and I spend a few weeks experimenting with all it can “do” to my pictures. With editing, though, less is always more. My goal with each photo is to take a picture I would be happy to post online straight out of the camera, like the one above.

It’s not too bad, but with a few subtle tweaks:
