fall on the lake

We spent our three day weekend on the lake. And really, I can’t think of a better place. My family is drawn to large bodies of fresh water, and during the years of living close to the Chattahoochee we’ve spent many many Fall afternoons parked at various “favorite spots” along it’s banks. Throwing rocks and sitting in the leaves. We haven’t been down to the river much this year. Instead we get our Fall fix when we visit my parents on the lake. And it’s infinitely better. Early morning sunshine warming the living room, boys playing hide-and-seek with their uncles, and a certain puppy who took an unauthorized swim. Fall on the lake is just as awesome as Summer.
