1st grade

The first day was actually yesterday, but we had a rough time of it and I didn’t even bother to look at photos until this morning. We all slept poorly, had to drag Jackson out of the bed, argued about what he would wear, and were late to school. Pick up was almost as bad. We waited in a disorganized mess of cars (is everyone is town a car rider this year??) for 45 minutes after the final bell rang, during which time Jonathan threatened to throw up if he had to sit there any longer. I just love starting the year off right.

Good news is we learn fast and this morning was much better. He was up before my alarm, dressed, breakfasted, and ready to go. Here’s hoping for a better car experience today.
