The boys love wandering in the woods behind our house on a warm Fall afternoon. This year they are old enough to explore on their own, and with my assurance that bears won’t bother you unless you bother them, they traipse into a different world. One where dirt holds secrets, sticks beg to be found, and fat worms hide under the logs. A little boy paradise.
