snowflakes and fort hamp

The Christmas decorations have been oozing out of the boxes this year. I’ve been a little tired and a little under the weather and honestly, Piper gets half my attention 100% of the time. The day she is housetrained we will sing Hallelujah and swing from the ceiling fans. Until then I’m preoccupied and the house hasn’t transformed into “Christmasy” quite fast enough for the boys.

The first thing we did was construct the fort and put up lights in their room. This is the first year with the loft beds, so we used them for the fort this year. Along with enough blankets to survive in a snow storm. Throw in a s’mores bar and a fireplace and we’d never leave.
