seasonal confusion

I’ve been trying to teach the boys about the importance of layering clothes when they get out of bed in the morning. It’s a difficult concept to grasp when you live in the South. Much easier to just dress for the afternoon, jeans and t-shirt, and beg me to heat the house in the morning. Which just isn’t going to happen because don’t you know if I run the heater at 8 AM, I’ll be running the air conditioner by lunch.

Say hello to the four trees in our yard that bloomed last week when the temperature hit 80 degrees. Tonight when it dips to 30 they’ll be regretting it.
