slow days and batting practice

Turns out the boss man has pneumonia. He doesn’t do sick in half terms. I managed to keep him out of the garage for 24 hours, and only because I was running a belt sander and he was afraid the dust inhalation might hospitalize him.

In other news. We did a whole lot of nothing the past two days. Activities included eating popcorn, watching movies and retrieving legos from Piper’s teeth. Sometimes I’m so programmed to accomplish something during the weekend that it’s truly challenging to sit and do nothing. Ironically, these sorts of weekends have a way of arriving just when I need a reminder that being still is the best accomplishment of all.
