a little lake water

02

Labor Day weekend came and went too fast (and I’m just now shifting through the lake photos). I’m glad to live in the South where the end of summer doesn’t necessarily mean the end of “summer”. One of the hardest adjustments every Fall is the loss of afternoon swims.

Jackson is becoming a great kayaker. I foresee him wanting his own very soon. He’s pretty good at improvising when someone steals his paddle.

I guess this is one way to ensure he doesn’t ram the kayak into the dock.

My brother came back from his summer overseas looking like an island man. We were so happy to see him, beard, ponytail and all!

Jonathan really learned to love the water this summer.

Yep. I’m going to miss this.
